ObesityWeek 2026 will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, a vibrant waterfront destination just minutes from Washington, DC. The walkable neighborhood offers dining, entertainment, and scenic Potomac River views — all centered around the conference’s host hotel.
All ObesityWeek 2026 activities will take place at the Gaylord National, providing easy access to sessions, networking, and amenities under its stunning glass atrium. National Harbor also offers quick access to Washington, DC, and Reagan National Airport (DCA).

$245 per night (single/double):
- $18 resort fee + 18% combined taxes (as of Feb 2026)
- Total nightly cost: $308.18
- Children 12 and under stay free when sharing a room with a parent. Triple/quad occupancy is an additional $20 per person.

- Standard rooms: shower‑only. Suites & accessible rooms: shower/tub combo

Airports
Reagan National Airport (DCA) – 15 minutes by Uber/Lyft / $26-45
Washington Dulles (IAD) – 45–60 minutes/ $65-90
Baltimore/Washington (BWI) – 45–60 minutes / $70-95
Rideshare is the most direct option. Shuttle and public transit combinations exist but there is no metro stop at National Harbor.
Parking
On-site parking at the Gaylord: self-parking $46 per day; valet parking $70 per overnight; $80 for oversized (9 ft and above)
There are also four garages in National Harbor with lower rates. The Mariner Garage is directly across the street from the Gaylord. Rates are $5/hour up to a $25 daily maximum and overnight parking is allowed.
